Basic Navigation of the 360° Viewer

This tutorial contains the basic techniques and features you can use to navigate through a digital job site in OnsiteIQ.

Access a 360° Image

  1. Navigate to the full view of an individual floor plan on a project or complete the steps to View a Floor Plan.

  2. Click on a purple or white node within the floor plan to open the correlating 360° view of that exact location.

    • Note: The purple and white nodes are mapped along the path the Capture Specialist walked through the job site.

Navigate Through a 360° Image

→ Walk Forward

Press the Up Arrow Key on your keyboard to move forward on the path the Capture Specialist walked.

→ Walk Backward

Press the Down Arrow Key on your keyboard to move backward on the path the Capture Specialist walked.

→ Look Left

Press the Left Arrow Key on your keyboard to pan your view to the left.

→ Look Right

Press the Right Arrow Key on your keyboard to pan your view to the right.

→ Look 360°

Drag and drop the image with your cursor.

→ Zoom in and Zoom out

Click on the + and - icons in the lower right hand corner to zoom in and zoom out, respectively.

Enter Split Screen View

Add additional context to your 360 experience by expanding the mini map (small version of the floor plan in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Click the Expand icon to enter split screen view. All previous modes of navigation outlined above will continue to function in this view.
