Change a Known Password

In order to change your password within your Settings, you must know your current password and have an active user account.

Things to Consider

  • If you need to change your password and do not know it, please see Reset Your Password.

  • Upon changing your password, you will automatically be logged out and will be forced to sign back in with your new password.

Steps

  1. From any page in OnsiteIQ click on your initials at the bottom of the toolbar on the left side of the page.

  2. From the menu window that appears, click Settings.

    • Note: This will open the ‘Change Your Password’ window.

  3. Under the ‘Profile and Security’ section, click Change password.

  4. Enter your current password in the ‘Current password’ field.

  5. Enter your new password in the ‘New password’ and ‘Confirm new password’ fields.

    • Note: Your new password must meet ALL of the following requirements:

      • At least 8 characters

      • At least 1 lowercase letter

      • At least 1 uppercase letter

      • At least 1 number

      • At least 1 symbol

  6. Click Save.

    • Note: You will automatically be brought to the ‘Sign in’ page.

  7. Sign back in with your new password.
