Techniques for moving around a job site faster, once you are comfortable with the basics. Start with Basic Navigation of the 360° Viewer if you have not already. All of this assumes you are viewing a 360° image.
Jump to another spot on the same floor
Hover over the mini-map in the lower left corner of the 360° image. For more room, click the Expand icon to enter split screen, which gives the floor plan half the window.
Click any node on the mini-map or the expanded floor plan. The viewer jumps to the 360° image captured there.
Two things that help when the floor plan is large:
Drag the mini-map with your cursor to pan to another part of the plan.
Scroll your mouse wheel, or pinch on a trackpad, to zoom the plan in and out.
Jump to another building, area, or floor
Click Locations at the top of the screen.
The panel opens as a tree. Expand down through building, then area, then level, until you reach the walkthrough date you want, and click it.
Close the panel with the X at its top right.
Adjust the brightness
Interior captures before the building is closed in can be dark. To lighten one:
Click Adjust brightness, the top control in the toolbar on the right side of the image.
The brightness scale opens and the image brightens one step automatically.
Click a level on the scale to go brighter or darker.
Click the X to close the scale.
Anyone with access to the project can use this control.
Taking the view with you. The same toolbar has Download Image, which saves the view straight away to your downloads, and Generate Timelapse, which emails you a video of this spot across every capture date. See Download an Image of a 360° View and Generate a Timelapse.
