Create a Markup
Updated over a week ago

This tutorial contains the steps and information you need to create markups on 360° images.

Things to Consider

  • Markups are associated with the floor plan and walkthrough from which they were created. Markups created on a previous walkthrough will not appear on future walkthroughs for that floor plan.

  • If you’ve integrated your OnsiteIQ account with Procore and would like to push a markup to a Procore project, please see Create a Procore RFI or Create a Procore Observation.

Additional Information

  • The terms Markup and Observation are used interchangeably within OnsiteIQ.

  • The blue nodes on drawings and within the 360° viewer symbolize markups.

  • Markups can be created Capture Specialists and by active users of OnsiteIQ that have access to the project.

Steps

  1. Navigate to a 360° image.

  2. Once you are satisfied with the current view of the digital job site, click on the Markup icon in the lower right hand corner of the image.

  3. Click on the area of the image you would like the markup to be associated with.

    • Note: If you have the Procore integration enabled and do not want to send this markup to Procore, click OnsiteIQ Observation in the window that appears

  4. In the ‘Create a Markup’ window that appears, complete the form with the appropriate information. Required fields are indicated by an asterisk (*).

    • Markup Type. Select the markup type. Types include Safety, Progress, and Punch List.

      • Note: The option to designate a markup as Open or Closed will only be available if it is assigned a Safety type.

    • Trades. Select the relevant trade.

    • OSHA Code. Select the relevant OSHA code.

    • Description*. Enter details about the markup.

  5. Click Post Markup.

  6. A blue node symbolizing the markup will automatically appear on the screen.

    • Note: Click on the blue node to see the details of the markup.
