This tutorial goes over how to create an RFI in OnsiteIQ and send it to a connected Procore project’s RFIs tool.

Things to Consider

  • In order to send an RFI to Procore, all of the following must be true:

    • The Procore integration must be enabled. See Enable the Procore Integration.

    • The connected Procore project has the RFIs tool enabled.

    • You have Admin permissions to the RFIs tool on the connected Procore project.

  • The 360° image from which the markup was created will be added to the Procore RFI as an attachment. The Procore RFI will also include a link to the markup in OnsiteIQ.

Steps

  1. Navigate to a 360° image.

  2. Once you are satisfied with the current view of the digital job site, click on the Markup icon in the lower right hand corner of the image.

  3. Click on the area of the image you would like the RFI to be associated with.

  4. In the ‘Mark-Up’ window that appears, select Procore RFI.

  5. Complete the form that appears with the appropriate information.

    • Notes:

      • All of the fields in the form are coming directly from the connected Procore project’s RFIs tool.

      • Click on More Options to see additional fields.

  6. Click Submit RFI.

  7. Click on the correlating blue node that appears on the 360° image.

  8. Click View on Procore within the details of the markup.

    • Notes:

      • This will take you to the RFI within Procore.

      • The number of the RFI within Procore may not match the number of the RFI within OnsiteIQ. The RFI number in Procore is determined by the amount of RFIs that have been created in Procore. The RFI number within OnsiteIQ is determined by the total amount of markups that have been created on the project in OnsiteIQ.
