Image Search harnesses the power of OnsiteIQ's AI detections of construciton elements on your job site. Rather than scanning the 360° walkthroughs for a certain photo, the OnsiteIQ Image search shows you every time it was captured, where, and when.
NOTE: Image Search is in Beta. It is marked as such in the product and is still changing.
Opening Image Search
Open a project and click Search in the left sidebar.
Searching
Type what you are looking for into Search for anything on site and press Enter.
The search understands the words people actually use on site, so privacy fence, privacy screen and screening all find the same thing, and dirt mound, earthwork dirt pile and spoil pile all work. Click into the box before typing and it suggests searches to get you started.
TIP: When searching using a key word, if you do not see any results populate as a searchable option, that means we do not have an objects labeled with that specific wording. If the object has multiple names (i.e. Drywall, Gypsum, Sheetrock, etc) try using a different word to see if the image search returns a result.
The same box also lists your floor plans, so you can jump straight to a specific level rather than searching for an object.
Filtering by category
Suggested category buttons sit under the search bar. Click one to see everything OnsiteIQ has detected in that category, without typing anything: Earthwork · Fence · Hardscape · Vehicle · Foundation · Plumbing · Temporary Structure · Raw Material · Floor · Lighting · Person · Wall · Landscape · Site Utilities · Fixtures
Browsing a category is often faster than searching when you are not sure what you are looking for yet: click Temporary Structure to see every trailer, container and fence panel on the job, or Vehicle to see what equipment has been on site and when.
Reading the results
Results come back as a grid of thumbnails. Each one tells you three things:
What it is, as a category and a specific type, for example Hardscape — Curb Wall, Floor — Concrete Raw, or Temporary Structure — Storage Container.
Where it is, down to the building, level and part, for example BLDG 05 - TERRACE LEVEL - PART C.
When it was captured.
Opening a result
Click any result to open it in a panel on the right. You get the full image, the location and date again, and the floor plan underneath with the capture position marked and a cone showing which way the camera was facing.
Two controls sit on the image:
View 360 opens the full 360° viewer at that exact spot, already facing the thing you searched for. This is the one to use when you need the context around a detection rather than the detection itself.
Download saves the image.
