Product Release Date: April 17, 2025
Overview
We’re excited to share an enhancement to our Forecast Completion Date (Beta) feature — a tool designed to give teams a clearer picture of project timelines directly within the Portfolio Dashboard.
This is an incremental update to the beta originally released earlier this month, bringing richer visuals and quicker insights into how projects are progressing relative to expectations.
What’s New?
→ Forecast Completion Date + Variance in the Project Drawer
You’ll now see the forecast completion date and its variance directly in each project drawer on the Portfolio Dashboard.
This gives you an instant read on how far ahead or behind a project is trending based on current momentum — no extra clicks or deep dives required.
→ Forecast Line in the Progress Chart
A new, semi-transparent line has been added to the progress chart to visually represent the forecast completion date.
This line extends from the most recent data point to the forecast date, colored to match the momentum-highlighted section of the chart.
It uses a linear fit of recent progress to estimate completion, providing a subtle but effective forecast visual.
Note: This is an initial beta version. We’ll be refining the model and adding new visuals in upcoming releases.
