JUNE 2025 | Site Utilities & Landscape Milestones Added for More Accurate Progress Tracking

Updated over a month ago

Product Release Date: June 26, 2025

Overview

We’re excited to announce a major improvement to our milestone and schedule tracking system that gives you a more complete and accurate view of your projects, from the first trench dug to the final landscaping touches.

What’s New?

Previously, we tracked 22 milestones throughout the construction lifecycle. With this update, we now track 24 milestones, adding two important phases that improve visibility at both the very beginning and end of a project.

✨ New Milestones:

  • Site Utilities (Milestone #1): Now the first milestone that can be tracked on active job sites. Site Utilities includes early underground infrastructure required to service the site and asset, such as water, sewer, power, gas, and telecommunications.

  • Landscape (Milestone #24): Landscape refers to the final site completion work involving planting of vegetation, turf, and other softscape elements that enhance the exterior environment of the asset.

The milestone number indicates where each milestone sits in the overall construction timeline — helping you monitor progress in the right order.

Additional updates:

  • Global milestone weights have been adjusted to reflect the new milestones. Learn more.

  • Existing progress data remains unaffected — there’s no disruption to current tracking.

  • Enhanced accuracy applies automatically to all future progress calculations.

Where You Can See These Updates

The new milestones are now live across:

The rollout applies to both new projects and applicable existing projects in the coming days.

Benefits

These improvements fill critical tracking gaps that can otherwise create surprises or blind spots:

  • Better start-to-finish visibility: See real work from early underground utilities to final site finishes.

  • More accurate forecasting: Improved milestone detail helps teams plan more effectively and spot delays sooner.

  • Confidence in billing and payments: More precise progress data supports progress-based payment applications.

  • Improved stakeholder communication: Owners and partners get a clearer, more transparent picture of construction status throughout the lifecycle.
