Click Share at the top right of Files. The dialog offers three ways to give someone access, and which one you want depends on whether they should have an OnsiteIQ login.
1. Invite team members
This option should only be used if the intention is to invite a new user who will have access to this project within OnsiteIQ. Once invite it sent, they will sign in and have access to all OnsiteIQ features (not just Files) according to the Role assigned.
There is also a Copy page link icon here, which copies a link to the current page to send to existing users who already have access.
2. Share with collaborators
For people with OnsiteIQ access. Copy and share the link with a team member to access the Files of a project directly.
3. Public share link
For anyone without an OnsiteIQ login. The link opens a limited view of the Files of the Project; the recipient cannot navigate into the rest of the platform.
Set an expiry when you create it: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or no expiration.
This Public Share link will only take them to grant them access to view the current Folder you are on. They can view and download the files, but the cannot upload new files. Make sure you are on the "All Files" section of the folder structure if you want them to be able to view all files when creating the Public Share Link.
