Columns of the Dashboard
→ Building Name
The name of the project or single building of a multi-building asset. Click on the name to view the Progress Tracking table or navigate to the 360 images of the building.
→ Last Walkthrough
The last time data for the project was captured and uploaded.
→ Progress
The overall % complete for the project. Calculated using a weighted average of the trade totals from Progress Tracking data.
→ Momentum
The state of progress on your project. Please see What's behind the colors indicating Momentum for a detailed explanation.
→ Baseline
The Baseline Completion Date for the project. This field can only be populated and updated by users with 'Account Owner' permissions. To learn how to enter Project Baseline Start and Completion Dates please see Set Up Your Projects for Full Schedule Tracking.
→ Forecast
The Forecasted Completion Date for the project. Forecasts appear when a project is at least 65% complete and has new progress data within the last 30 days. Forecasts will disappear if work stalls and will stop updating entirely once the project reaches 98% completion. We use a simple 60-day trend model to forecast the finish date.
→ Variance
For projects that have both a baseline completion date and a forecasted completion date, a Variance will be calculated to show how many days you're projected to be ahead or behind schedule.
Reading the Project Overview Side Drawer
Click on the Progress, Momentum, Baseline, Forecast, or Variance for a particular project or building of a project to open the Progress & Momentum drawer for the project.
→ Total Duration
The total number of days (if 30 days or less) or weeks that have passed since OnsiteIQ first detected activity for trade(s).
→ Variance and Forecast Date
Forecast Date analyzes historical progress trends to help teams estimate project completion dates. Variance is calculated to show how many days you're projected to be ahead (-) or behind (+) schedule.
→ Baseline Start & Completion Dates
With Account Owner permissions, you can add, edit, or delete baseline dates. Please see Set Up Your Projects for Full Schedule Tracking for information on how to enter Project Baseline Start and Completion Dates.
→ Total Progress History Chart & Forecast
View the % Complete from the first capture (date at the bottom left of the x-axis) to the most recent capture. Once there is a sufficient amount of data in order to gauge momentum, the last two weeks of the production rate line will be neutral, yellow, or green. The logic for the color coding is described here.
→ Milestone Activity
Milestone Activity is a section intended to display a range of different project trades on a given project and categorizes them based on activity status thresholds such as Active, Started, and Competed.
